Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery and less than 90 days
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shop@sampuru-sakura.com and send your item to our address www.sampuru-sakura.com/legal
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to our address www.sampuru-sakura.com/legal
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Order Cancellation
Customers cannot cancel an order after it has been processed. We try to ensure that all product information is accurate and complete, and that the photographs clearly indicate the shape and color of each item. Exchanges and/or refunds cannot be made due to customer error.
Custom Fees
Please be aware that the customer is responsible for paying customs fees and for providing any documents required by customs in your country. If the customer refuses to pay imposed customs duty taxes, the package will be sent back to us. Under this circumstance, no refund will be issued to the customer if a life-size replica was ordered.
Damage Products
We will only replace or refund items sent by DHL express mail if damaged upon receipt by the customer. To be eligible, the customer has seven (7) days to notify customer service at shop@sampuru-sakura.com with photos of the damaged product(s) along with the order number.
In order to receive a replacement or refund, the damaged product(s) must be returned in its original packaging. Please understand that the customer is responsible for paying all shipping costs associated with returned items and that these shipping costs are non-refundable.
Once returned items have been received, we will notify the customer via email and commence the process for either a replacement or refund. In the case of a refund, we will refund the customer the amount of the order minus 1) the payment processing fees that were imposed at the time the order was placed and 2) the shipping cost we were charged by the carrier to send the package.
As packages delivered via DHL (express mail) are insured (up to 200 CHF), some costs may be recoverable once the customer has reported the damaged product(s) issue to the appropriate delivery company in his/her country. Sampuru Sakura will be responsible for reporting the issue to the DHL (express mail) office based in Switzerland.
